communication is essential to business making and it involves more than the ability to name your product, write a tag line or a press release. It's an intricate, rational and scalable effort and, let's face it, not anyone can do it.

the vodafone ad: pretty weird that they would make a goal out of turning all the lights on, since everybody today is so envrm. conscious and would tell you to do the opposite. just saying...:)

Celebrating x millions of people that are not aware of what is happening to them...http://www.storyofstuff.com - watch this (its 20 minutes but it's worth it) and then help communicate, but check your ethics first!

@ andreea I think we give advertising a bit too much credit. Not a lot of people think about the minute details of what this and that may mean. the goal is to make a point and we do it without thinking of consequences :-)
@ anonymous: ethics and advertising, wow, that will be the day! sorry to sound cynical but advertising has nothing to do with ethics today or any day. I find more and more that talking about these two in the same sentence gets you weird looks from everyone
